Southern Import Export Ltd is a Rwanda-based importer and wholesale distributor. We import trucks, trailers, commercial vehicles, spare parts and agricultural & industrial equipment, plus food commodities and construction materials, and distribute them across Rwanda and East & Central Africa.

We are based in Kigali, Rwanda (KG 2 Ave 9, Kimihurura, Gasabo District). We serve customers throughout Rwanda and neighbouring East and Central African markets.

Our primary market is Rwanda, and we also supply buyers across East and Central Africa, including the wider Great Lakes region. Vehicles and equipment are imported in full container loads (FCL) and delivered to your location.

Yes. Southern Import Export Ltd is a registered private limited company in Rwanda (TIN 155709336), compliant with the Rwanda Development Board and Rwanda Revenue Authority, banking with I&M Bank (Rwanda).

We supply wholesale distributors, fleet operators, construction and logistics companies, cooperatives, institutions, and government procurement programmes, as well as private buyers purchasing single units.

Both. Some units are available from stock, and the full range is available import-to-order in full container loads, configured to your exact specification (engine, cab, body and options).

Lead time depends on whether the unit is in stock or imported to order, and on your destination. We confirm an estimated delivery time on every quotation and handle structured, compliant importation through Rwanda's customs.

We operate a transparent, contract-based model with clear pricing and banking. Payment terms are agreed per order; we bank with I&M Bank (Rwanda) and confirm accepted methods on your quotation.

Yes. We import full container loads and can arrange delivery to customers across East and Central Africa. Tell us the destination and we will quote landed pricing and lead time.

Yes. We supply genuine and OEM-grade spare parts for the trucks, trailers and vehicles we import, so your fleet keeps running with minimal downtime.

We are a partner for the full Sinotruk HOWO range, including the current HOWO TX, HOWO N and HOWO T7H series: tractor units (tractor heads), tipper/dump trucks, concrete mixers, water and fuel tankers, cargo trucks, refrigerated trucks, garbage compactors and crane trucks.

Yes. Southern Import Export imports Sinotruk and HOWO heavy-duty trucks directly from the manufacturer to Rwanda and East & Central Africa, for haulage, construction and municipal work.

A tipper or dump truck hauls and discharges loose material such as sand, gravel, soil and construction spoil. We supply HOWO 6x4 and 8x4 tippers with middle-lift, front-lift and U-shape bodies.

Yes. Horsepower (typically 340–430 hp), cab type, drive (4x2 / 6x4 / 8x4) and body are configured to your job. Tell us the application and we quote the right specification.

We supply 3-axle semi-trailers: skeletal and flatbed container carriers, side-wall (fence) trailers, lowbed (low-loader) trailers for heavy plant, tipper trailers, and fuel, chemical and bulk-cement tankers.

Yes. Trailers are built to your axle, suspension, tyre and tank specification and shipped alongside your tractor units so your fleet arrives matched and serviceable.

Alongside Sinotruk, we are a partner for the Dongfeng range, the Tianlong KL and KX series and the flagship Dongfeng GX, covering high-horsepower tractors, commercial trucks, pickups, buses and passenger vehicles.

Yes. We supply private fleets, transport operators and government procurement programmes, importing to order in full container loads to your specification.

Yes. We supply genuine and OEM-grade spare parts for HOWO, Sinotruk and Dongfeng trucks, trailers and vehicles: engine and drivetrain, filters and lubricants, brake systems, tyres and wheels, cab and body parts, and electrical components.
